Anders Øskar has thrived in overseas expat ecosystems as a modern beatnik with an uncanny drive for impacting change and pressing iron. Four years in the wild west of Sichuan that featured go-go dancing, singing show tunes for whiskey promotions, and passing over businessmen with ketamine straws forged his outlook on the modern chaos of cityscapes and sharpened his appreciation for nature. Anders was inspired to write fiction after suffering an 11-hour bus ride in Laos armed with a terrible paperback wanting nothing more than to leave behind a positive vibe on a hostel bookshelf for a young soul to stumble upon long after he’s passed away. With a brief stint in Europe that was equal parts studies and technomusik, Anders now resides stateside with his sights set on that next big trip. Away from the keyboard, he enjoys live music, wandering the mountains, and dark-haired women from all corners of the globe.
